I do like Stila's #1 Blush brush; love the long handle, it's soft, applies the perfect amount of blush; I use it for other powders, as well.

i only have one stila brush it's the double ended eye brush, i think it's #30 and i really love it. i do not have any powder brushes like those that you are giving away and would really like to try them. my fave stila products are the lip glazes, eye shadow in kitten (of course!), and the convertible eye color (which is on hautelook currently...yeah)

I love brush #4. I use it to get into the inner/outer corners below my eye.. to line it w/ blk/brown shadow to give me that rich bold look! It's very soft and fluffy and you get the right amount of control to do anything! Def my favorite.

I like brush #1 from Stila. Reason being is that I've always been prone to acne, and the sponges would always cause my skin to become red and irritated, however, when I started to use Stila #1 brush to apply COMPACT, yes COMPACT makeup, my breakouts began to decrease (and I didn't change anything else from my makeup or cleaning regimen). Now I use it all the time and I clean my brushes with the tips you guys have on your website:
ReplyDeleteHere are some general tips on how to clean your brushes (can be used on all Stila brushes): 1.Use warm water to clean the brushes.
2.Apply either a small amount of mild shampoo, antibacterial soap or brush cleanser.
3.Gently lather the brush and rinse under warm water until the water comes out clear and all makeup has been removed.Thoroughly rinse all soap out of brushes.
4.Squeeze out the excess water in the brushes.
5.Lay the brushes flat on a towel and allow them to air dry.
Now I only breakout once in a while, but who doesn't..a pimple here and there. Who knew sponges were the culprit...and for so long! Now I really do enjoy using the Stila's brush #1 to stay fresh, clean, and radiant.

i love the flat top brush because i feel that you can use it any several ways. you can apply foundation or set your face with the brush, but you can also use it to contour your cheeks! :]
