I think lipstick is a girl's best friend because it can change a look instantly; whether it's smokey eyes and nude lips, and smokey eyes and red lips - both are very different looks, yet the difference is achieved with lipstick. Sometimes on gloomy days, I swipe on my favorite lipstick and it's an instant mood-booster.

To me it makes me feel beautiful! My hubby loves it when I put on make up, we have 4 kids so I don't get to wear it as often as I like but when I do my lip gloss is a MUST!!! My most favorite thing to use, so many colors to pick from and pink is my absolute favorite!!

Lipstick is such an amazing pick-me up! When I'm sick and lack to apply makeup or even make myself soup, a little lipstick makes me feel feminine and human again. If I wash my face at the end of the evening and barely recognize myself without makeup, a layer of lipstick or gloss puts it all in perspective again. And it doesn't cause breakouts if I fall asleep in it! I keep my favorite tubes of lipstick and gloss strategically placed around the house- beside my bed, on my computer desk, next to the mirror in the bathroom- and apply a wash of color whenever to help me feel pretty, when I might feel plain. It's also the one cosmetic product that can convey an entire mood or theme with a single color, on an otherwise bare face - red is sexy, classic or festive, purples are edgy and gothic, and pink is demure and soft. Your lipcolor says a lot about you in the moment. ;-)
