stila star jason araujo led the stila team backstage at the cynthia rowley resort presentation.  jason used stila products to create a travel friendly look for the models who literally had to walk the streets of new york dazzling fans, editors, and tourists with cynthia’s latest creations.





















why do we love this look? 
  • it required little to no brushes.  jason recommended fingers for the majority of the application process.
  • many of the products are waterproof, heat resistant, and longwearing – great for daily use or your next resort vacation!!

stila and gap partnered with the mother company for the production of their new educational children’s dvd.  stila artists lindsey and viviana were on the set of this endeavor, working behind the scenes to make sure everyone was camera ready.  check out some photos taken during the making of the dance scene for the dvd.




there were over 30 girls in this scene of the dvd.  lindsey and viviana relied on stila’s must have products – fuschia convertible color and fruit punch lip glaze – to prepare the girls for the camera!  one girl commented that she was so excited to be wearing stila makeup because it was the only makeup her mom wore! 



these stila girls danced their hearts out in the heat for several hours.  fortunately, stila’s sheer pressed powder kept their skin sweat free!  however, it was still a long day for some of the young ones!

stila sponsored this year’s women in film, crystal + lucy awards.  the event honored women in the entertainment industry, recognizing their achievements, talent, and passion.  courtney cox, donna langley, zoe saldana, cynthia pusheck, and lisa cholodenko were honored as well as other individuals.  we were so thrilled to have the pleasure to participate in this wonderful celebration.

stila artists’ kaci, lindsey, and viviana worked the event.  natural finish foundation was their go to item of the night.  it flawlessly covered everyone’s skin and provided a healthy finish that was definitely award worthy!  here’s some behind the scenes pics from the night!  go stila!




nyc’s in a stila state of mind

apparently new york city is in a stila state of mind!!  last week at the annual makeup show (a tradeshow attended by all the pros in the industry), one thing was certain – there was not enough stila to go around!  stila’s booth at the show was crazy, helping makeup artists from around the area get their hands on the latest and greatest that stila has to offer.  what did these makeup artists want?  one step foundation and smudge stick eyeliners.  these 2 new products are innovative and a must have for everyone!  it’s no wonder they sold out so fast!!! 


p.s.  doesn’t our booth look pretty legit?  we thought so!

stila recently sponsored the reality tv show, hair battle spectutacular, a new reality tv show debuting on oxygen in august.  this show focused on fantasy hair design and makeup to compliment these looks.  stila was thrilled to take on this challenge.  it gave us a chance to really think outside of the box when it comes to makeup and simply play.

it is easy to be intimidated by makeup.  yet there is nothing more empowering then sitting in front of a mirror and experiencing what makeup artists often refer to as the “art of makeup”.  you don’t have to be a skilled professional to try something new.  instead, you need a little creative ambition – and possibly a little extra time in the morning!  if you’re not sure where to begin, think a little outside of the box like we did in these photos!  and rely on go to items from stila like smudge pots and eye shadows!

the buzz girls recently held their annual timeless style event benefiting the joyful heart foundation.  10 celebs walked the red carpet in amazing vintage gowns provided by tresor de vintage. the night was full of energy, excitement, and, of course, makeup! stila artists complimented the amazing vintage gowns with classic makeup looks that had a hint of modern flair.  check out the tv guide footage from the night!
